Rakhri “Debate the Weight” Contest is back!

Just listen for the Debate the weight bumber, and be one of the first 5 callers into Red FM. Each caller will take a guess the weight of the sweets in the box. The closest will win 2lbs of mixed sweets, and the remaining five callers will get their name in the grand prize draw for $500, it’s that easy!

In the Red 93.1 FM Rakhi “Debate the Weight” Contest (Here after referred to as DTW), contestant participants will have a chance to instantly win 2lbs of mixed sweets from Aggarwal Sweets and have their name entered into 1 grand prize draws for $500

Contest rules and details:

1. Red FM will randomly inform listeners that it is time to play the contest by playing a DTW contest sound live on air.  To participate in the DTW contest, you must be one of the first five callers to the Red FM on-air line. 604.591.9311
2. The Red FM host will then ask the callers how much one specifically packed box of sweets from Aggarwal Sweets weighs.
3. Callers must guess the weight of the box of sweets on-air.
4. The caller whose guess is the closest to the actual weight of the box will win 2lbs of mixed sweets from Aggarwal Sweets.
5. All participants guess the weight of the box on air will be entered into a grand prize draw of $500.
6. Only 5 callers will be play the contest at one time.
7. Participants may only have their name entered into the draw one time.
8. Participants who instantly win a box of sweets must first pick up a winners coupon from Red FM then take the coupon directly to Aggarwal Sweets
9. Participants who do not have an instant prize coupon will not be able to pick up their prize from Aggarwal Sweets.
10. Instant prizes must be picked up from Aggarwal Sweets by October 31st 2010.
11. To win the grand prize, Red FM will draw 1 name live on air, Tuesday August 24th between 4-5pm. The participant whose name is drawn will be called live.
12. If the contestant whose name is drawn does not answer the phone live on air, another name will be drawn in their place and the contestant who did not answer their phone will not win a grand prize.
13. Prizes are not negotiable.
14. The contest will begin on Wednesday August 18th and run until Tuesday August 24th 2010
15. Contestants may only be registered for the contest one time and may only win one instant prize.  Those contestants found registering their name more than one time for the grand prize draw or winning more than one instant prize will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive any contest prizes.
16. Weight of sweet boxes is not debatable.
17. All winning contestants must provide government photo identification when collecting prizes. No exceptions will be made.
18. Red FM reserves the right to use contestant’s names, images and recorded media in any format for our own purposes indefinitely.
19. Red FM is not responsible for any technical problems incurred during the course of the contest by the contestant, Red FM, sponsors or any participants.
20. Red FM will use its sole discretion in determining if contest participants answer question correctly. 
21. DTW contest rules may be subject to change at any time exclusively by Red FM.
