Vancouver’s #1 South Asian radio station, ReD 93.1 FM (South Asian Broadcasting Corporation Inc,) is presently hiring Punjabi-Hindi News Reader.

Your Main Duties will include:

• Keep up-to-date with developing stories with the goal of providing listeners with latest, concise and factual information.
• Talk to reporters and collect their latest stories.
• Read, record and edit news casts and ensure that the newscasts air on schedule.
• Maintain a news-log on a daily basis

Employment requirements:

• Must have completed radio broadcasting education
• Excellent speaking skills in Punjabi, Hindi and English
• Should be able to translate stories from English to Punjabi and Hindi
• Ability to read news
• Must be detailed oriented
